I am leading a session at WordCamp Columbus 2012 titled Creating a Plugin Workshop. I would like attendees to help select what type of plugin we will develop during the session.
What would the functionality be?
What options could the users be able to change?
Please use the comment form below to suggest your idea.

It would be nice to have a plugin that abstracts the WP query API (or just interacts withe the DB directly) with a more ORM-like API to query posts, categories …
Hi will rookies be able to follow this session (regardless of the plugin chosen)? Or will it be too advanced. I have just the beginning phase of code knowledge. Thanks.
Robin, I hope to appeal to a wide range of developers. I plan to walk through writing the plugin from the beginning without much pre-coded, and will try to explain what/why as much as possible.
how about a custom slider that is has a good UI and can be placed in both php and html with no ties to any specific post/category/etc…oh yeah, and make it free
What image sources do you have in mind? Do you have a js slider you like that we could make a wrapper for?
